Direct Waste Management Ltd was established in 1984 as a partnership, and then formed into a Limited company in 1998. We have two fully licensed sites in Peterhead which are covered with PPC permits which allows us to store and treat waste. These sites are monitored and regulated by SEPA. We also operate to ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 standards.

Waste Oil Collections
For recycling oil in Peterhead could not be easier with us. We collect anything from 2000 to 30000 litres. Once Collected we deal all the necessary treatment. We also collect waste oil from various vessels in North East Scotland.
Storage Facilities
We have the ability to store liquid waste at both our sites in Peterhead.

Tank Cleaning
Our tank cleaning service includes on shore storage tanks such as fuel tanks brine/mud tanks, tote tanks etc. We can also clean the above tanks on supply vessels that come in to port. All our operators are trained in confined space entry and high pressure water jetting.
Intermediate Bulk Containers and Drums
We supply recycled intermediate bulk containers and drums. Along with this service we are also happy to uplift and remove used IBCs that can be successfully washed which we then resell. Any IBC or drum that does not meet the required standard for reuse will be disposed of after washing.
